Does Cove ask for a deposit?
Yes, Cove asks for a refundable deposit equal to four months' rent. It covers damages or unpaid rent. The deposit is refunded at the end of your tenancy if there is no damage.
How long are Cove leases?
Cove wants to give tenants the flexibility they need so our contracts can accommodate up to a 3 month minimum. After your fixed term period, you will automatically transition to a rolling monthly contract. This contract will automatically renew every month unless you wish to leave.
Do all your properties come furnished?
Yes, all our properties come furnished with basic necessities. At a minimum you can expect in the communal areas: sofa, coffee table, smart TV or TV with Chromecast, dining table and chairs, and kitchen appliances. In the bedrooms we provide queen sized beds in most homes, or a super single or single bed if space is limited, bedside table, bedside lamp and wardrobe. In some larger rooms we try to fit WFH friendly furniture such as a desk. All rooms also come equipped with a laundry basket, 10 hangers and an extension cord.
Are there any house rules?
We ask that all tenants behave in a respectful manner towards each other, this includes keeping the noise down after 10pm on weekdays and 12 midnight at weekends and always informing other flatmates if you intend to have guests over. Other than that we don't have any official 'rules' but we do ask all tenants to sign up to our house rules when they rent with us which you can see on page https://covekorea.com/en/house-rules.
What is the process to book a room?
After your viewing you will receive an email with a link to book a room. Click the link to complete the booking form. Once we received your completed booking form we will issue an electronic tenancy agreement and invoice. Once the invoice has been paid and agreement signed, your room is officially yours!
What is provided when I move in?
Everything you see at the viewing is provided when you move in. All the furniture, kitchenware and in your bedroom we provide the mattress, mattress protector.
When will the deposit be returned?
The deposit will be returned to you after 30 working days so that we can cross check against the check out inventory, room condition and processing of the documents.
